Fall is...

By Amy Shepherd, M.Ed.

Fall is… a joyful celebration of everything autumn brings.
From crunchy leaves and rolling pumpkins to football tosses, hay rides, and cozy seasonal fun, this book captures the warmth and wonder of fall through clear, high-contrast images and simple, rhythmic language.

Designed with visual accessibility in mind — including support for children with Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI) — each page highlights a single meaningful scene using clean layouts, bold imagery, and uncluttered backgrounds. Young readers can pause, look, and connect with familiar fall moments in a way that feels calm, predictable, and engaging.

Whether it’s biking down a crisp path, picking apples, carving pumpkins, or dressing up in costumes, Fall is… invites children into the sensory joy of the season while supporting visual attention, early language, and concept development.

Perfect for families, educators, therapists, and anyone who loves autumn.
